The Thule Vertex bike carrier range is an extremely popular collection of bike racks for your car. They are American made units with a tough, heavy duty design. They simply attach to a 50 mm square socket found on a hitch style towball and are secured in place with a few turns of the supplied spanner to firmly bolt them in place. Alternatively the Snug-Tite lock can be added for piece of mind if you leave the carrier attached while away from the vehicle.
The bikes are held in soft cradles and a restraining strap stops your bikes swinging around as well as anti-sway cradles which can be used for additional restraint.
