The SweetRoll is a very tough and functional set of cradles from the American brand Yakima. They will clamp around a wide range of crossbar profiles from a small square cross section to the wide Whispbar wing shape.
The SweetRoll cradle surfaces are large to spread the load over a substantial contact area. They can be used with either a rubber surface or the kit comes with an adhesive felt pad that can be used to cover the contact surface instead. The unique feature of the SweetRoll is the roller incorporated in the rear cradles which assist with loading from the rear or positioning the kayak when loading from the rear.
The Yakima SweetRoll is supplied as a kit which includes 4 cradles, 2 tie down straps and 2 front and rear tie downs.

What Steve thinks......
I like the SweetRoll. They are a tough solid carrier with large pads for spreading the load over a larger contact area on the hull. The built in roller is a also a neat trick. They have a universal fit covering a wide range of cross bar profiles with a relatively quick attachment method that does not involve the removal of a rubber buffer strip to access the top channel in a cross bar.
Additional restraints for the bow and stern are included with this product.
