kayak carrier

The Rhino Nautic 571 is part of the excellent Nautic range from Rhino Racks. This version allows attachment to a wide range of bars that do not have a T-channel in the top of them. The 571 is the cradle set to go with when you want to load your kayak on from the rear of the vehicle. The four cradles gently support your hull while four tie down straps securely restrain your watercraft.

The front pads are designed to grip the hull while the marine grade felt on the rear cradles allows the hull to slide for loading.

What Steve thinks......

The Rhino Nautic kayak carriers get a thumbs up from me. They are well made and well designed. I know from talking with my contacts at Rhino that they partnered up with kayak manufacturers when developing this product and as a result it ticks all the boxes.

In the roof rack world we bang on a lot about making sure your kayak is not only secured to your roof racks but also tied down at the bow and stern to vehicle tow points. This is very important and therefore I am pleased that Rhino not only promote this practice at every opportunity but also provide an additional set of tie down straps in the box so you have no excuses.
